Billionaire Bad Boys: Rich, Powerful and Sexy as hell. He isn't Mr. Nice Guy... Julian Dane thought he'd hit rock bottom - until he met a woman (isn't that what they all say?). He used her and broke her heart. Now he wants to turn things around but the damage he dealt stands in his way. Kendall Parker's unique issues have made it hard to live a normal life. Very few people understand her and she trusts even less ... but she believed in Julian once, and he only betrayed her. Now Julian is back - a new man - and determined to win Kendall's heart. But this reformed bad boy just might find that Going in Deep is harder than it looks.

MY REVIEW

I gotta be honest. I've been interested in finding out more about Julian and Kendall ever since I met them briefly in Going Down Hard. Sorry to say I haven't had a chance to go back to the beginning of the series so I knew very little about them going in. But I knew Julian used to be an addict and that Kendall struggled with her own bipolar issues and what wasn't there to want to learn more about? No worries though because despite my ignorance, the author truly wrote this book as a standalone and I was never lost.

Julian and Kendall shared an exciting yet painful history. He used her in order to hurt the ones she was closest to in the name of vengeance. Now he's back to make amends, earn forgiveness, and hopefully win back Kendall's heart in the process. Their feelings never really died and so they fell pretty easily back into each others arms. But their road to forever may not be so easy because not everyone is quite as forgiving.

This turned out to be a surprisingly sweet second chance romance considering the issues both main characters struggled with. They were really sweet together and their dogs were an extra bonus. There was a bit of character development but the author didn't go in too deep *see what I did there?* The sex scenes were hot and there was no question as to the veracity of their feelings and the intimacy shared between the two. Side note and an extra bonus: during their time apart, neither character was with anyone else. Can you really ask for more???
