MY REVIEW
Ooh that cover! It was definitely appropriate for what I imagined Brady to look like. Hmmm... I can still picture him in my mind.Brady was Boston University's resident player. He was the star quarterback, the center of attention, and he was used to getting what or who he wanted. His first real challenge came in the form of Harlow. Very much aware of his playboy reputation, she was at first resistant to his charms. But pretty soon she realized his sincerity.
Brady was hot. No question. He was a sexy, dirty-talking jock who discovered his heart when he met the right woman. He was easy to like and aside from some blips at the beginning, he seemed genuine. There was a bit of angst and tons of sweetness. I had an issue with the opening scene, but I get that it was necessary in order to show Brady's character growth and for added drama that came later. I just wish it wasn't as descriptive as it was. There were a few inconsistencies, such as time, and I didn't like how a huge revelation was dealt with because it was left unresolved. Wasn't there a crime committed??? Overall, it was a worthwhile and enjoyable read and I recommend it to anyone who enjoys a sweet and steamy story.
