They say that life is a beautiful lie and death a painful truth. They're right.
No one has ever made me feel more alive than the guy who serves as a constant reminder that my clock is ticking.
He is my forbidden, shiny apple.
The striking fallacy to my blunt, raw, truth.
He is also my sister's ex-boyfriend.
One thing you should know before you judge me;
I saw him first. I craved him first. I loved him first.
Eleven years later, he waltzed into my life, demanding a second chance.
Dean Cole wants to be my bronze horseman. My white knight has finally arrived. Hopefully, he isn’t too late.

MY REVIEW
"I saw him first. I craved him first. I loved him first."
I have to admit that I wasn't sure how the author was going to get me to fall in love with this story. I had serious doubts. How could I, right? The general theme made my heart hurt. My stomach queasy. The idea of a man being with two sisters sounds so twisted and so wrong.
"Real talk, Rosie, you are all I ever wanted. Even when you wanted me to be with your sister. She was a comforting candle. You were the dazzling sun."
How could it ever be right? How??? I'm not saying that I'm totally okay with everything or that I didn't question my sanity, but I can say that I did fall in love with the evolution of Dean and Rose's relationship.
"I love you so much that I hated you for a while. And now that I know that you are damaged, I love you even more. Perfect things are not relatable. Unbreakable is fascinating, but not lovable. You're breakable, Dean Cole. I'm going to do my best to keep you whole."
Dean and Rose were amazing but inside I was screaming at them! Why put themselves through the torture? I get that they were young and dumb but they didn't do Millie any favors. And there were many times that I doubted Rose's true love or devotion to her sister. Am I really the only one??? Despite the fact that Millie and Vicious were meant for each other, I felt bad for the thoughts and deeds that ran rampant during her relationship with Dean, all happening behind her back. Beyond that unfortunate situation, I was completely on board the Earth and Sirius train. There was never a time in which I doubted Millie's love for Dean or his for her. It was heartbreaking and beautiful. I'd like to add that as much as this was Dean and Rose's story, I was incredibly happy to see that it was a story about the big picture. All of the characters got a key role.
"He was my sister's ex-boyfriend and my first love."
If you're looking for a taboo-style romance, then look no further than RUCKUS. I can't wait to read Scandalous, Trent's story.
