This book is one of the many reasons why I'm ride or die for Mz. Blanco. She writes such sensuous books, with characters who come across as so realistic you could touch them. Dorian was in tons of pain. Blue balls will do that to you. He's got a major boner for his new intern, but she's untouchable. Not only is she over a decade younger than him, she's the daughter of his business partner - a man who's like a second father to him. However, the more he tries to resist her pull, the more obsessed he becomes. And when she makes it impossible to turn away, he gives in, damning the risks. People will just have to understand because he's not letting her go.

She was rhyme. She was rhythm. She was pure quakes of sensations that dragged me in, locked me down, and remade me.

I was hooked by the words. The author had Dorian drowning in arousal for Demi and it was HOT!! And yet this was so much more than some smut book - this story had tons of meat. There was an undertone to it that hinted at a much bigger picture, something I'm hoping to see fleshed out in the book to follow. If you're looking for a hot AF page turner, you'll want to add this one to the list.
