Finding out you are more than you ever thought
A year ago, Ember was terrorized by a serial killer. He stalked her, taking photos of her taking photos of the crime scene. He left her feeling paranoid and afraid. When the police locked up who they found to be 'The Watcher', Ember felt like she was finally getting her life back. She was recently promoted and then it started happening again... she was being watched. Between the notes and the pictures, she didn't feel safe. In comes her new neighbor, Angelo, a man who calls to her in ways she's never experienced before. From his scent to his voice to his allure, she ends up throwing herself at him at every turn. And he's more than willing to catch her. When the truth of who and what Angelo is comes out and what that might mean for her, life as she knew it will never be the same.I've found a new author to stalk! With The Seeker, Kellen gave me a story full of action and drama and tons of heat. Angelo and Ember were insanely hot and while their intimate moments happened often, there were still plenty of eventful moments throughout the plot to make this story entertaining. I was intrigued by the idea of a serial killer trying to lure out vampires and I only wish that part of the story was expanded upon in depth. I'll admit that I was shocked by who the bad guy turned out to be and I love when that happens. As predictable as this story seemed at times, I was able to be suprised, which only makes me want to read more. I'm off to add more of this author's books to my reading lists!
