I knew... I just knew going into this book that my heart would break. I got off way too easy with Lucas and his not-so-complicated story. I had a feeling that my feelings would be tested with Logan. And. I. Was. RIGHT!!

This story was all about Logan and his love for Mary. She was sweet. She was always there when he needed her. She gave him peace. Whenever he was anxious, afraid, pissed or even happy, she was there. She also wasn't a person. Mary was the love of Logan's life and she was also known as weed. Their relationship was toxic and she acted as a gateway for Logan's life to spiral, causing my heart to break. For the most part, Aubrey was a poor substitute for everything Logan got from Mary, but I will admit that she was better for him.

Logan was a misunderstood new adult who didn't quite fit. He had the best family ever and they loved and supported him no matter what, but no one could truly understand him. And when everything came to a head... when all of Logan's truths were laid bare... hearts broke.

You want feels? This book's got them. You want family? The Prestons are all that and more. You looking for love? Logan's story will give it to you. I'm so in love with these people and I can't wait for my next visit with them. Leo's story is next!
