I loved how Walters took us even deeper into the conspiracy. Not only do we get to fall in love with a new couple, we get a glimpse into the true evil that is hunting them.

Kade spent his entire adulthood alone. For 85 years he was a hunter, taking out rogue wolves and protecting his kind and humanity. Now he was the one being hunted and with magic at play, his distrust of others had reached a whole new level.
