Once upon a time, my father's best friend gave up his life to save me and my mom.
That's a debt a man can never fully repay, but my father gave it his best shot.
When Joss and Brooklyn showed up at Big Nose Kate's, it was Bones they were hoping to find.
Instead, they got us and a death certificate.
Without Bones, I wouldn't be here today.
Without my dad, Brooklyn would have wound up alone.
And without Brooklyn....well, I would've given up.
I'm Eric Montgomery, and until Brooklyn Richardson came into my life, I believed sacrifice and integrity were a man's creed.
That becoming a soldier was my destiny.
Enlisting in the United States Army nearly broke me.
But it also taught me how to defend, honor and fight.
And loving Brooklyn gave me something to fight for.
Happy Tuesday and welcome to another TTT! This meme is hosted by Jana @ That Artsy Reader Girl and this week's theme explores 'Book Covers with Fall Colors/Vibes'. My favorite season happens to be autumn so I enjoy any excuse to do something to show my love🍁. I chose to highlight books on my to-read list and I went a little over ten, but once I started, I had to force myself to stop.
...sooner or later, he was going to find out that I f--king loved him. That I would do absolutely anything for him, even take out my heart and hand it to him if he asked. Nathan didn't understand the depth of my feelings, and I seriously wanted to keep it that way.
We've made it to another Friday and for most of us that means rest and relaxation (hopefully). Once again, I've put together lists of sales and freebies so you can easily find a book to unwind with. Have an amazing weekend!! 💙💙
Please Note: this list may be missing some. For more sales & freebies (because they might still be on sale), CLICK HERE!

I can't believe it's already October! Time flies when you're not having fun it seems. Being stuck in my house (my employer is as cautious as I am when it comes to this pandemic), I'm still not able to keep track of my days like I used to. I've never been so grateful for calendars and phone alerts in my life!
These are my favorite months of the year. I absolutely adore the colors of autumn and during this time, I'm still able to enjoy my comfy clothes, my warm drinks, and my comfort reads. My children and I have had a blast hibernating for the last eight months and despite them starting school, the hibernation continues. What better way to ring in this new month than to reminisce over what I did in the last one?
LOVE, the only crystal I'd never bothered to collect, in fear it would stop me from flying. But now I was floating in space, with my man next to me, with no rules, no portals, no solstices. Free.
